Another variable which might influence
claims about attachment
causing
better well-being is the type of people the child forms relationships with. If a child has a sensitive mother or friends that are securely attached, they will primarily be surrounded by a supportive and caring environment. This will also have a positive outcome on how the child interacts in the social world later in life. The child's culture will play a role in the type of people that interact with him so culture can also be considered another variable.
