There is a strong correlation between the type of attachment the child has with their parents and the type of life they have. The fact that they only tend to implies a positive correlation between the two even if the causality cannot be proven. The issue with proving the causality is that it can be impossible to have a good control group. Since we cannot have humans live in cages without changing their lifestyle, ignoring the moral issues, it becomes very difficult to control the variables, such as luck. This means that there are always going to be other explanations such as having rich parents makes life easier. One thing that has also been shown is that the types of attachments children have with their parents are reflected in the relationships they have with people in the future. This does not take into account the relations that the other person has though. External forces play too large of a role to determine if the cause of a better life is only the type of attachment.
