Attachment Lab

Since secure attachment by definition entails that the child will display more curiosity in exploring his or her environment while the mother is present, it seems that this behavior would eventually lead the child to seek out more social connections as a toddler, which would eventually lead to improved interaction skills, which can be a source of confidence and well-being as an adult.  With this line of thinking, secure attachment can be given a causal relationship with well being, however this is not exclusive, while secure attachment would imply behaviors that would help in social developments, this does not imply that only securely attached children would be well off later in life.
