Dream

Pen name: Dreamer
In my dream I was a pitcher, but I kept throwing balls. I couldn't get it one throw to the catcher. The coach, who was my dad in the dream, was telling me I have to throw more accurately, but it didn't help. Then I woke up. (I've never played baseball, so it wasn't some memory or anything)

Translation: I think your dream reflects a common, sometimes subconscious desire in people to please their parents. In this particular dream, the fact that your dad was the coach seems to suggest that he is the one you want to please. The pitching of the baseballs may represent an endeavor you wish to be successful at. The fact that you cannot succeed despite your dad's coaching may be reflective of your frustration at not being able to succeed at some task in real life or not receiving sufficient acknowledgement from your dad of his satisfaction with your achievements.

Translation: I believe this type of dream very common when you leave your home for the first time. You probably miss your parents and you wish you could have spent more time with them before you left home. Even though you never played baseball before it says and you kept failing it meant you would keep trying till you achieve that goal of throwing it to the catcher.

Translation: I think your dream translates into a sort of pressure to live up to expectations. This sort of pressure might be caused by the recent transition into University life. You might be under a lot of pressure thinking about the future. About wanting to do well in classes and graduate with good grades, in order to not let your parents down. To a certain degree, you might be worried/frustrated that you might not be able to achieve the goals you set out for (as in the dream you did not manage to pitch better after given advice by the coach).

Translation: I think this dream has a lot to do with your fear of being at college. You have never played baseball just like you have probably never lived away from home. Both of these are very different experiences from your normal life and you are nervous for the change. Also, I think this dream expresses your desire to please your parents. In your dream, you were eager to please the coach, or your dad, and you were upset that you werent succeeding. In college, you are just as eager to please your parents through academic success etc. I think the fact that you couldnt throw the ball to the catcher expresses your fear of failure. You dreamt that you were failing at throwing the ball just as in real life you are afraid of failing and disappointing your parents.
