I don't usually dream much, but I had quite an interesting dream earlier in the week that I thought I would share with you. A little background though, last Sunday, I broke 3 fingers when they were slammed into a door.
So in my dream, I was placed in the same exact situation that I was in when the actual event took place. I was outside my room dancing in the hallway, and I had stopped and rested with my hand up against the doorway. As the door began to shut, I tried to pull my hand out, but the door moved very quickly. It seemed like I was in a lot of pain, but it looked like there was a possibility that the hand was moved in time because the door shut. Then, I looked down, and three of my fingers were shorter than the others. I started to scream, but the next thing I know, I am all taped up in the hospital. If you haven't seen the movie, The Ringer, this next bit of information might seem irrelevant. In the movie, a character loses his index, middle, and ring fingers in a lawn mower accident and proceeds to do a new wave callled the Stavi Goodbye. I remember giving the Stavi Goodbye to my family at the hospital, and then, I woke up.
Needless to say, I am definitely going to be more cautious around doors from now on.
