I'm a little spotty with the details on this dream, but I remember that I was running around in a Giant Eagle, literally running, looking for milk (interestingly, I had been in a Giant Eagle the day before). I was carrying a plastic shopping bag with me, and there was something in it that seemed an awful lot like a carton of milk. I could have just looked inside to see if it was milk, and the thought even crossed dream-me's mind, but for some reason I never did. So I kept running around.
I think the fact that you were dreaming about Giant Eagle shows that your mind is processing the events that occurred in reality. I think it is possible that the dream you never checked the plastic bag because you are distracted by something. You want to know what is in the bag, and you know that all you have to do is look inside and yet something keeps you from doing so. Maybe you have a problem to deal with in reality that you are having difficulty dealing with.
