I would say that based on the results, humans are not like machines. Because of the wide variability in the results, humans are not like machines, which produce the same results over and over again.
I agree my lab results do not support the view that humans are similar to machines. My data was scattered, and my results did not improve as the lab progressed. If I were more like a machine, I would have had consistent results when trying to catch the ruler.
Penname; VD I disagree with your view that humans arent similar to machines. My lab results support my view as my time improved with every trial, for both hands. This substantiates the claim that if u keep practicing, the brain eventually gets better at doing the same task, resulting in faster times for this case.
