Earliest Memory

I'm pretty sure I can recall earlier memories, but as of now, the only one I can think of is when I found out my grandmother passed away. I was approximately 4 when this happened. From what I remembered, I just saw my mother crying hysterically. That would probably helped make this memory memorable because never in my life had I seen her so sad. My dad then briefed me on what happened. My grandmother was the first person in my life who died. So as a 4 year old, I would probably say that I had a good grasp of what death was. But at that moment, I didn't weigh in the significance of this event. All I could think of was my mother's well being. So I guess you can say that I can still associate with this 4 year old; a simplistic child that can comprehend raw feelings.

Apologies for the sad story.
