my earliest memory happened at around christmas time when i just turned 2 just a few months earlier. In retrospect, I consider it to be a very important memory, but at the time it probably served little or no significance for me. It happened to be my first and only memory of my grandfather before he died just a little over a month later. I was showing him the Thomas the Tank Engine toy I had just got from "Santa" and he was laying in bed, sick.
I dont know If im the same as I was when I was two. At two, its still kind of hard to determine who somebody really is, from another persons perspective. They havent quite developed yet because they have only seen such a small piece of the world at that point. I think youre born with a personality, or certain tendencies towards how you act, but a two year old doesnt have worldly experience yet.
