Earliest memory

My earliest memory is when I was 4 years old in Burundi. I remember looking down at my foot after hitting a concrete step in my front yard and it started to bleeding heavily. My mom started screaming at my dad and my nanny for not having paid attention to me. I don't actually see myself being a part of this scene; I'm more of a bystander watching the commotion since I am nothing like I was at four years old. My earliest memory where I actually participate is sophmore year of high school when I was sitting at my desk studying for an AP World exam. I remember this particular time because it was the first time I had actually decided to stay up and study at that hour instead of going to bed.
