The secure attachment theory can definitely be well correlated to later well being in life; however, other factors can also influence the later well being of individuals. For example, socioeconomic status can have an effect on an individual's well being. If the family is not well off financially but the child's classmates are, then the child may feel hindered in connecting with other people his age. Moreover, if the parents of the child are divorced, the child may feel inadequate or deprived of care at home, which could possibly cause the child to not feel as secure later on in life, even if one parent is giving him lots of attention and care.
