Earliest Memory Lab

My first memory comes from when I was 4 years old.  I was over the house of a family friend, and they had a huge ball pit.  I remember jumping in, diving around, and submersing myself underneath all the multi-colored plastic balls.  It was an absolute blast, and I remember not wanting to leave.  It was such a neat feeling as a 4-year old to be enclosed in this ball pit area!

I think what made this memory especially stick out to me was that as I continued to get older, I would see other ball pits and this memory would always jump to the front of my mind.  In essence, the reinforcement of this memory over years and years has made it my earliest memory.  Although I don't have any urges to jump into a ball pit right now, I think my identity as a relaxed person who loves to have fun has stayed the same.
