Earliest Memory Lab

Age: 3

I was sitting in a hammock in the backyard of the house my family used to live in before we moved. I was three years old and it was a beautiful day. Everything was fine until the neighbors giant Dalmatian came into our backyard and started sniffing around the hammock. I do not recall who was with me in the hammock, but I remember being scared and not being able to get off of it. I was stuck hiding in the hammock from this dog that was three times my size for a few minutes, but i remember it as hours.

My personality is definitely different now. I am no longer scared of dogs, but I still do have trouble getting off of hammocks.

Most of my early memories are also slightly traumatic in some way or another. I think we might remember them because they have a strong emotion attatched.
Apparently when I was younger I was chased by a dog, and was afraid of them for many years afterwards, but I don't remember this.
