earliest memory

It was my birthday and we were sitting at the dining room table eating cake. I looked outside and snow was falling and I was really happy and excited about playing in the snow later. I was 4 years old. I don't think my identity back then was as defined as it is now.

my earliest memory also takes place around the age of 3 or 4. This seems to be a trend through all or most of the other posts as well. One big difference between my memory and yours is that you do not consider the memory of yourself to be the same person you are now, while I do see my former self to be the same as my present self.

3-5 does seem to be the common age for these early memories, I wonder if there is any meaning behind that. I also tend to see my "former" self as my present self, just with more growth and experience in life

My memory also occurred on a day where it was snowing. I also don't believe identity was defined at my earliest memory. I don't really think identity gets defined until at least early adolescence, if it ever gets defined at all.
