Earliest Memory Lab

I remember my first memory at about the age of 5. My brother and I used to celebrate our birthday parties together. There was a magician at our party and I probably remember it because at that specific birthday I remember being upset because the magician called on my brother and his friends only because he was unaware it was also my birthday. I'm sure I am different from then seen as it is over a decade later.

Aw you must have been really sad. I think that's probably what contributed to you being able to remember the event even though it happened to long ago. Do you remember saying anything to anyone about this during that day? I think you would still be upset if the same situation were to occur but I think now that you're grown up, you would say something about it

I think it's interesting how both of our earliest memories are similar in the sense that it was during our birthdays.  But whereas in my memory I was very happy, in your's you were upset because the magician chose your brother to participate instead of you.

Yeah, my earliest memory was also of a birthday, though it was my 4th, not my 5th. I guess because our parents wanted to make sure our birthdays were happy, memorable experiences, but I guess the happiness part didn't work out as planned in your case.
