Income can be an underlying variable that impacts how well of someone is in the future. Usually secure attachment is seen in families with at least a decent amount of income. Therefore, these families are able to afford college for their children which will probably lead to the children's success later in life. Income makes it seem like secure attachment has a cause and effect relationship with well-being, while income is the variable with the cause and effect relationship with well-being.
While I agree that a higher income can make attending college and later success possibilities, it may not always improve general well-being. For instance, an individual might be financially successful, yet emotionally unstable. It seems that you are associating well-being with success, and success with financial stability. Yet well-being refers to various concepts outside of income.
External environments, primarily outside of the early development stage, do contribute to the development of distinct personalities and behaviors. In addition, socioeconomics plays a role in determining the future well-being of individuals, especially with regard to those individuals who possess limited, similar resources.
