Attachment Lab

I think a factor is society and the environment the child grows up in. Not only does the family and the nurturing of the child have an impact on the childs well being, but also the friends that the child makes. If he or she is popular, then the child will have higher confidence and therefore have a better well-being. Being able to communicate clearly with friends and family is a large factor of feeling comfortable around people and thus having attachment. These factors could be determined genetically.

I agree with this notion, because popularity is very important to children especially at a young age. Having a lot of friends and feeling loved by others are good for a child in his or her younger ages. This can usually lead to a better well-being in the future because the child has confidence that he or she is loved in society, and has the social skills and etiquette needed in the social world.

I completely agree with the both of you.  A child's upbringing can be affected immensely through society and the environment the child experiences after the initial attachment to the parent(s).  It all depends on what that specific child experiences and how they cope with the situations life brings.
