attachment lab

There are many aspects of family and household culture can affect a child's level of attachment. I think the most imfluential is how much time the mother or other member of the family interact with the child. If the mother is busy and there are other people to interact with the child everyday the child will most likely have a secure attachment but if there are not many people to engage the child then he or she will have a different attachment and will be more independent. Also, I believe that siblings will have a great impact, because in a few infants that I had known, if the mother was not around, the child found its secure base with the siblings.
