I believe that children with parents or siblings who are present to take care of them will develop better than those without. While financial stability and social status are nice, they only help in making the parents/siblings more happy. Parents and siblings of the child can be happy regardless of finances or social status and if they are happy, and care for the child, the best development will come about. Maybe, the child will be more appreciative of gifts, understanding of sacrifice and saving, and sympathetic to those with less.
