I was with a couple of my friends and we drove to the store and as we parked, the car next to us had two girls murdered in it. We called 911 and they were taking forever and we were getting scared, so we went into the nearest store which happened to be mcdonalds and as we walked in the scene kind of changed. Instead of my friends I was with my dad, mom and brother and we were eating together. As we walked out of the store we walked onto a pool deck and my family seemed to mesh in and then disappear and my friends from home were in the pool and hanging out and i was so excited to see everyone and be at the pool, so i dove in with my clothes on and as i entered the water the dream ended or from what i remember ended.
Your dream might be a reflection of your first week on campus. The two murdered girls would be a version of the the two robberies that have happened. The absence of your family might cause you to (subconsciously) remember eating at McDonald's with them. It sounds like a good memory. Lastly, you miss your good friends from home. If I saw my friends at a pool, I'd also be excited enough to jump in fully clothed.
