Dancing at CMU

Pen Name: Mariachi
I was in one of the large lecture halls during class,, However it was filled with people from back home, and all of a sudden rap music started playing and the class stopped studying and began dancing around the room in some sort of a conga line. This went on for about 10 minutes (or thats what it seemed like) before my girlfriend came over and we started talking. Then the dream ended. Very Weird

My take on the dream is that it represents some nostalgia for the past. It seems to describe a scene that you feel comfortable in, surrounded by people you know and even your girlfriend. The setting reminds me of a high school dance which may represent fun times for you in the past. The dream might be an expression of a longing for the comfort and security of high school were everything was familiar in the face of the many unknowns of college. It seems like a natural reaction that confronted with a new environment you don't feel completely at home in yet, your subconscious retreated to the security of the past.
