Animals with their prey in the early morning.

Penname: Cmusich

So, I was sleeping and all and while I was sleeping I dreamt I was at a lake and field in the early morning, like dawn. I kept seeing all these animals [ cranes, small mammals] and they were all getting their food which happened to be other animals. I had my camera and I was trying to get these great shots because they were so close to me but I kept missing. One animal I specifically remember was this rabbit that was absolutely huge. It was like waist height and it had this small mammal in it's mouth [it's prey] and I still couldn't get the shot. I was disappointed.

The End.

It seems as though you have trouble deciding what you want to "chase" in life (forgive the pun). You want to obtain dreams far beyond what reality can provide, thus the great shots are missed. Perhaps the big rabbit is your aspirations? It is gobbling all other distractions in your life to keep you focused, but in the end your aspiration remains unobtainable and lost. I interpret this dream as a slight fear of failure. Perhaps you just need to boost your self confidence like wear nice clothes. These are all just suggestions, so don't take them too harshly. Your dreams may morph into a larger, bigger and badder prey that you will someday catch! Good luck dreamer!

I feel that this dream is just representative of how overwhelmed you are in a new atmosphere. Everything, just like the rabbit, however innocent is also quite awesome and big because you have never been able to be so up close to see and experience this new environment. Furthermore, as you are standing in awe of all of the new things and making mental notes of it, everyone around you seems to either understand the nature of the world and is either adapting well or struggling miserably (hence the imagery of the animals and their prey). They are all small mammals in your dream, though, because they seem to not have as much control over what is going on around them. They are merely pawns in a game of chess. However, you are still unsure of where you stand in this new environment as you take pictures and try to understand it. That is why you are disappointed in the end.
