dream

My mom, my brother Scott, my sister Erin, and I were stranded on a highway. We had crashed our car but no one was hurt, it felt like just a minor annoyance. We were waiting for a rescue truck to come pick us up. It was snowing so the roads were slightly more dangerous than usual. My mom thought that the safest place to sit and wait was on the dotted lines between the lanes. I thought that this was stupid and dangerous and that the guard rail was the safest place to wait. I kept telling them that I was too afraid to wait on the dotted lines. I kept thinking that the cars were going to hit me every time they drove past. It actually did seem pretty safe but it was still frightening. So I decided to make my way to the guard rail. My family, annoyed, followed me. It was slightly dangerous to cross the lanes but I felt much better when arrived at the guard rail and waited there. After a while, a man in a white pick up truck pulled up by the side of the rode to give us a ride home and tow our car. It thought that it took him longer than it should have to come get us, but I attributed this to the fact that it was snowing and there must have been many stranded people he had to pick up first. We had to cross the highway to get to his truck. I saw him trying to get my sister Diana out of our crashed car wreckage. She was not hurt but her skin was bright white, possibly due to the cold. The rescue man refused to touch her because he believed that she had rabies because of her sin discoloration. My siblings and I knew that she didnt but we did not bother trying to convince him of this. At one point he threw rocks at her. My dad had gotten out of the wreckage himself and was waiting in the pickup truck already.

After everyone was ready to be taken home, my mom said I could leave. I was able to drive home by myself. (I dont know why I didnt drive home at an earlier point if I had the option to do so the whole time.) I actually was the car when I was driving home. While I was driving I noticed that there were a few cars that were driving the opposite direction on the highway. I was a little frightened but I avoided them pretty easily. I had a strange urge to crash into one of the cars going the wrong way. I told myself that that would not be a good idea because it would be the equivalent of hitting a stationary wall at 120mph. But it seemed like it might be fun, like crashing in a video game. But I assured my self that it would not be and I continued my way home. The street pattern and traffic signs were very strange and confusing. I then came to one part of the road where I had to be launched across a river, like in a video game. My best friend Asher was the person in charge of getting the cars set up to launch. I realized that this must have been the new job he mentioned to me the other day. I positioned myself to be launched and was eating a strawberry ice cream pop. I was launched but I just missed landing on the other side and fell into the river. I was a little angry that this happened, but I was just transported back to the launcher again for another try, similar to what happens when you drive off the track in Mario Kart. My car had no damage and I was happy when I noticed that my ice cream pop had been fully restored to its original state as well. Asher positioned me this time so I was sure to make it across. I made it across perfectly but I was a little annoyed that I had needed his help to do so.
