My dream started with me wandering around my house at night with all the lights off. I was looking for some mysterious object, which I cannot remember what, when off a sudden a cartoonish, overly friendly vampire came out of the shadows. I remember not being scared at all but rather annoyed at him because he would not leave me alone. The vampire could also travel through walls and this made him more annoying as where I went, he would go. I eventually lost my temper and screamed at him to leave me alone and then, I woke up.

It seems like maybe you are searching for something in your life.. maybe not something mysterious but just a goal you have like in a class or a social situation. The vampire represents an irritation/distraction that seems to follow you wherever you go which eventually leads to your utter frustration - perhaps the lashing out at him is either a solution or desire of the id
