Ruler Lab

This lab does not support the view of humans as machines. My response time did not get consistently better, but instead was rather inconsistent. This is perhaps due to my varying levels of concentration due to me focusing on other activities other than the ruler. Machines follow precise instructions and do not have negligible variances in their results, thus they are capable of producing consistent results. The essential difference from machines and us is that we have more difficulty separating ourselves from our environment to perform tasks. Even though my results did slightly get better over time, it was not consistent.
