Pen name: Eriatlov To a degree I would have to say that the test lends some support to the idea of humans as machines. When focusing on the action I needed to take in response to the stimulus, I did slightly better. A machine tends to be able to take stimulus quite readily, and yet the response to the stimulus can be improved. This is consistent with my personal findings in the lab.
