Ruler Lab

Nomnom

My results were inconsistent and random, there was almost no form of pattern. At times, I would have a repeated measurement that shows some indication of improvement, and the next measurement would disprove that. A machine on the other hand would always be consistent and accurate. There would also be no outside factors. At times, I felt like I anticipated the ruler falling before it was actually dropped. At times, my partner dropped it while saying 'ready' and at other times after. Because of this, I do not think this experiment is an accurate comparison of the human brain versus the machine. Perhaps it is also because I only performed 10 trials on each hand

I agree- the human is not a machine. My results were inconsistent with both hands in most of the trials. A machine would not necessarily get perfect results each time, but they would always be consistant.
