I believe I was about five years old; although the circumstances aren't extraordinary, I remember having a lot of fun-- in addition to being a bit surprised. I was playing Robin Hood in the local playground under one of the pine trees. As most five year olds don't care much about Robin Hood or Sherwood Forest there weren't a lot of other kids who would join in that particular game, but one day a girl about my age marched up to me and demanded to play Friar Tuck. As Friar Tuck is an odd choice for a young girl to wish to pretend to be, I remember being quite surprised-- but we had a rather jolly time dashing around the playground with our pretend band of outlaws, doing battle against the evil Sheriff of Nottingham.
My personality is the same as it was then-- I just hide my playful side better.
My childhood memory is also from when I was playing with friends. Maybe we both remember these events because this was the first time that we really had a lot of fun with our peers.
