The earliest memory I have goes back to when I was four. I was visiting my brother who was hospitalized at the time. I was waiting for my dad to come later around dinner, so he can take me to dinner while my mom stayed with my brother. While I was waiting for him, I was coloring one dollar bill with different colored crayons. My mom was horrified and amused at the same time, and my dad just laughed when he saw it. When he came, we went to cafeteria that was on the top floor of the hospital. I am certain I had pork cutlet. After dinner we went back to my brother's room, stayed for a while and dad and I came back home. This event isn't exactly extraordinary, considering I visited my brother quite often, but I think I still have this memory because my mom kept the colored one dollar bill and I saw several times it later on. I can't say for sure but I think my personality is different from when I was four and now. When I was younger, probably up to fourth grade, I was more easy going and optimistic. Now, I'm cynical and sarcastic.

I remember my parents collecting my artwork from kindergarten class. They covered our living room walls with my artwork and it eventually covered up the whole living room walls. It's very sweet that your mother kept the dollar bill you painted. It must have meant a lot for her ;) I feel like my personality hasn't changed much. My earliest memory is when I was three, and although I don't recall exactly how my personality was back then, I think I was always full of curiosity.
just like you, I remember my experience because of repetition, mostly because of it. Maybe some sensation that I felt too. My first remembered experience was biking in preschool, and just like how you visited your brother a lot and also was shown that dollar bill a lot, I remember biking around the preschool bike course a lot as well because I basically did that everyday.
