I was about 1.5-2 years old in my earliest memory. I was standing at the top of the staircase of my house in my children's walker. I accidentally fell down the stairs in my walker. It is hard for me to recall my personality or identity, but I do not feel like I am continuous from that point in time.
I think falling down the stairs happened to a lot of people during their childhood, and I had constantly fallen down the stair and sofa when I was very young.
I remember falling down the stairs often as a child, too. However, I think my personality is continuous with that memory because I am still clumsy and have even fallen down the stairs recently. ~Big Spoon~
That is interesting. My earliest memory was also about falling down some stairs, but I do not feel any real connection with the person that I was then. I know that the memory is mine and I obviously remember it happening to me, but I just feel like I am a different person now. It is difficult to explain effectively, but it is very real to me.
