Earliest Childhood Memory

I was about 1.5-2 years old in my earliest memory. I was standing at the top of the staircase of my house in my children's walker. I accidentally fell down the stairs in my walker. It is hard for me to recall my personality or identity, but I do not feel like I am continuous from that point in time.

I think falling down the stairs happened to a lot of people during their childhood, and I had constantly fallen down the stair and sofa when I was very young.

I remember falling down the stairs often as a child, too. However, I think my personality is continuous with that memory because I am still clumsy and have even fallen down the stairs recently.

The earliest memory I can recall also happened when I was around 1.5-2 years old. Similarly, I can't relate my personality then to what I am like now.

Falling down was common in everyones childhood as we all had to learn to walk at some point. It just seems some of us remember it more than others

That is interesting. My earliest memory was also about falling down some stairs, but I do not feel any real connection with the person that I was then. I know that the memory is mine and I obviously remember it happening to me, but I just feel like I am a different person now. It is difficult to explain effectively, but it is very real to me.
