My Earliest Memory Lab

I do not think there were any extraordinary circumstances that make this memory particularly stand out in my mind, but it was the annual Halloween party in my kindergarten class. I was therefore about five years old. I was dressed as a fairy in this Pepto Bismol-pink dress and carried a wand. I was taking my sweet, old time taking off my jacket and putting my things in the closet before entering class. I waited until the last possible minute when the bell rang to go inside because I wanted to make some sort of entrance. After all, I was covered in pink and glitter - every kindergarten girl's dream come true. Who WOULDN'T be envious? When I finally entered the classroom and walked to my table, which was conveniently located the farthest from the door, I took great satisfaction in knowing that my fabulous costume was definitely noticed.

While I would neither be caught dead in that shade of pink, nor am I that conceited, I am relatively still the same person. I still like to make a statement with what I wear on special occasions and I would still probably feel like a huge deal if I carried around a glittery wand.

aww i think little you is soo cute. I still do that to this day, so no worries. well our memories were similar in that they noth involve new dresses, but i really wasn't as self obsorbed as your were cause I was onlt three. I didn't get a fashion sense till 8th grade. interms of relevence to this class, I think the reason I retained this memory has something to do with I still have the picture my mom took of me that day, so i think that helped retain that memory.
