my earliest memory occurred when i was about 6 and a half years old. It is of the night that my sister was born. In the dream, i remember staying in my apartment with my grandmother and uncle. The reason that i probably remember this dream is because it was the first time i remembered being alone with neither my mom or my dad. I also remember it because of the mix of emotions that i felt that night, fear and excitement and abandonment all at once. my personality and identity are completely different now because i no longer feel completely dependent on anyone else and i am also used to not having my parents around all of the time.
