An exception to the rule.


Well, I feel like it is true for the most part, that people who grow up with a secure attachment have happy fulfilling lives and vise-versa, however I feel like this secure attachment does not have to come from a parent in order to lead to happiness. For example, if someone's parent passes away when the child is very young, the child could form a strong bond with someone else close to them like a relative or a sibling, and still grow up fulfilling, happy life.
