Although, early child attachment has an influence on the well-being and the development of temperament later in life, there are various other factors that can affect better well-being.  Even if a child showed secure attachment and thus, relative confidence and well-being throughout his early childhood, development of social relationships outside of the child-caregiver relationship can change this.  For example, relationships with fellow classmates, friends, and teachers can affect the childs temperament.  Moreover, incidents that occur during the childs teenage years may strongly affect the childs overall temperament as well.  Teenagers are usually more vulnerable to emotions and developments during these years.

I agree. While an infant's attachment to their primary caregiver can be a huge influence on their development and success later in life, that is not the only variable that can affect them. A child's relatives, playmates, teachers, friends, role models, and experiences also play a large role in shaping who he or she turns out to be. For example, had I joined the local soccer team I would have turned out completely differently than had I attended theater camp every summer since I was five.
