Many studies do show that the well-being of a person is correlated to the kind of attachment that person had as a child. I think that these studies are accurate, however there are other factors that can influence the well-being of a person. Some of these factors could be a traumatizing experience in early childhood, such as an accident or death in the family. Other factors could been involved with experiences in early education. Children soak up a ton of information from their surroundings. Although focusing on developing a secure attachment proves to be very important in determining well-being, a focus on the surroundings should also be important.
