I agree. However, I also would like to add that they way these events can shape a child may also be correlated with how a child deals with such circumstances. Some children naturally have a positive outlook, and when bad things happen, they try to not let those events affect them too much. Others can have a very negative outlook, they may not appreciate having a nice house with several resources, they could be depressed anyway, and when bad experiences happen to these children it could be extremely detrimental.
i agree with both of you. different experiences can affect the course of life but childhood relationship with their parents can also affect how he handles difficult situations. ALthough two person go through same experience, their childhood relationship can change how they perceive the experience. but i do agree with the idea that there isn't only one factor that determines the lifestyles. Environment and experiences are also huge variables that play a major role in shaping the person.
