I agree that there is definitely a correlation between a child's attachment to his caregiver early in life and his well-being later in life. It makes sense that if a child can have a positive relationship (trusting, caring, respectful, etc) as his first early in life, he will be more willing to engage in relationships with other people and more likely to establish ones similar to his first. However, it is important to note that despite the relationship a child has with his caregiver, as he grows up and interacts with more people, not every relationship will be the same regardless of how he acts. If he is in an environment where he cannot find someone to share such a relationship for an extended period of time, he may still be able to create a positive relationship but may be more hesitant to do so.
