I dreamt that I was in my art studio with some people I know. My friend from my art studio at home was there as were some people from my art class here. We all were drawing a still life but my pencil wouldnt work. They were all drawing this intense bamboo plant and I was unable to draw. I asked people around me if I could borrow one of their pencils but they all ignored me. I decided to draw with my finger instead and I hoped the teacher wouldnt notice because that was cheating.
I think your dream means that you are nervous about school and are worried if you would be able to handle the work. Since you moved in not long ago, you probably are also worried that you left something important at home, and that reflects itself in your dream when you said you didn't have a pencil. The other people ignoring you might be because in the first few weeks of school, you don't know a lot of people and everyone seems to be a stranger and don't talk to you. I don't know if everyone had to attend an Academic Integrity information session, but mine was about an hour long and kind of scary, talking about the consequences of cheating. Perhaps you had one too, and that is why the cheating thing stuck and you are still thinking about it at night.
