Bizarre dream for dream lab

I had a dream this week that I was working at a diner.  It was pretty small and normal in everyway, except that there was this conveyor belt to bring people into the place. The belt started  at the strip mall next to the diner and people would just roll on in every so often. I don't however remember there being a normal door. To leave you just had to get on the conveyor belt to head out. Eventually my boyfriend came by to pick me up when I was done working my shift. He had this really small box shaped car which I don't remember ever seeing. The car was covered in a carmel colored car cover while we were driving in it. The only thing that was partially uncovered was the windshield. I couldnt understand how he could see to drive though. I was getting kind of concerned about it and thats when I woke up.

It is clear to me from this dream that you feel trapped and do not have as much control over your own life, especially the speed of your life, as you would like.

The conveyor belt definitely shows that you are not in control - the people come and go without you being able to slow their passing. Also, your boyfriend picked you up - again, out of your control. Because you phrased it "Eventually my boyfriend came by to pick me up..." it seems like he might be a controlling figure in your life, but at least he did not come and go on the conveyor belt.

The car again shows your lack of control - though you would like to see what's going on around you but your boyfriend is again in control. Just like in the diner, things around you go past you without you controlling the speed, similar to the conveyor belt.
