I know that this was a much longer dream, but this is the only part that I can remember with any clarity: I was at home with my younger brother chasing around and looking for a dog. The dog was some how both my old dog who passed away, and my dog who is still living embodied into a single dog. Towards the end of this scene I began to feel that it was hopeless and we would not find her. Then the dream ended without any resolution.
This dream suggests that you miss your old dog, and your new dog does not measure up to the companionship you felt with your old dog. Therefor, you are searching for the closeness that you felt with your old dog. The fact that you feel hopeless suggests that you may never have a dog that you love as much as you loved your first dog.
