Dream Lab: Alarm Clock.

Pen name: Bubbles

I basically wake up with an alarm on my phone everyday. I don't think this dream lasted more than 10 mins, because thats all I can remember of it...

It starts off abruptly with me trying to switch my alarm off. I repeatedly press the snooze button on my phone but that doesn't seem to put the alarm off. I tap the phone many times at the back wondering if it's got hung or something but that doesnt work either. I then remove the battery but the alarm STILL doesnt stop. I'm so confused and pissed off. I start banging my phone to the wall until I realize that I'm still cuddled up in bed and my phones on the floor ringing my alarm the entire time...

It sounds like your alarm clock is your major concern when sleeping. I feel like you are really nervous about being late and that you care about your punctuality. It must be of high concern to you subconciously as well since you dream about not being able to turn off your alarm clock. I feel like the alarm clock does not stop ringing because of your deep desires to always sleep more than you have to.

I guess you really must dislike waking up. I guess your brain becomes aware of your "internal alarm" and since you must like sleeping a lot and are usually a heavy sleeper then you begin to loath the sound of your alarm and when it goes off I guess (this is if you are in REM when this happens) you dream your surrounding noise and since your brain can match that noise with the object it brings back that memory that you hate the alarm that wakes you up which causes the "worst case scenerio dream: you being unable to turn off and escape that moment of waking up. Dreams are usually guided by memory and emotions so both the memory and the alarm waking you up and the emotion of hatred brought that horrible nightmare most of us have.
