My dream begins with myself strolling along a beach around dusk. The beach is covered with an endless sea of trash. The trash is composed of paper, plastic, and other forms of disposables. As I walk, the ground feels more like trash than sand.
At a later point during my walk I stumble across an enormous dead shark lying on the beach. I circle around it and examine it thoroughly. As I come around to the mouth of it, I stare at its face. After a few moments, its eyes swivel and stare straight at me.
There is a short pause and then the shark speaks in my mind. I do not remember the words but then the world blurs and I can no longer see. I stumble back across the sands from which I think I came. The trash on the ground changes from simple paper and plastic to glass.
You are very worried of the severity of Earth pollution. You dreamt of walking along a sea of trash and it may show your guilt of being a part of the cause. You may have dreamt about it because you were ashamed of, subconsciously, something you may have done (not recycling, etc) OR because you were sincerely worried or scared of what might happen if pollution gets worse.
To be more general, the sea of trash may represent your fear of something great, which you have no control over. The shark is showing your burden or duty to overcome the conflict. While glass can be translated negatively, it can actually show the pureness of your mind. It shows your urge to show others how you feel inside.

I'm guessing that you are likely concerned about the environment in real life as well. You see the world as slowly being over taken by pollution. The shark indicates that you see the world as strong but dying around you. The shark stares at you because you feel that you should do something about it yourself, but you don't know how to help the shark.
The problem just seems to get worse as the trash turns to glass. Glass is much more abrasive and painful. You're feeling pain as the world is getting more polluted.
I think that you have some issues in your life that subcutaneously haven't dealt with in a positive manner. The more you walk, as in go on in life, the more it seems that the problems, trash, stress, etc., pile up.
The dead shark is you, in some symbolic sense. Its seems you have given up, or see yourself as dead after struggling through all this trash. As a shark, it means you saw yourself as a fighter, aggressive, but with all that struggle, you see yourself as now defeated.
You are blind because you do not want to see this world that is within you, all these problems and all this pain.
As the trash turns to glass, you realize that the problems and things won't go away, but will form hard parts in your life, hurtful and sharp.
