Earliest Memory Lab

As far as I can figure out, my earliest memory is dancing with my Uncle at his wedding. I was wearing a pink dress and stood on his feet to dance with him. I would have been about 3. I'm not sure how much of this is actual memory and how much is created from pictures and stories of this event. I feel continuous with the me in this memory.

In some respect, this memory has similarities to my first memory and many others.  A lot of the ones posted seem to involve an interaction with family members and are primarily visual.

This memory is similar to my memory in the way that I'm also not sure if all of the memory is real or if parts of it were constructed from imagination. Even though all of the images of the memory are from my perspective, there are parts that seem like they could have been dreamt up. However, your dream seems like the type that you would remember on your own, in my opinion.

This memory has a lot of similarities with my earliest dream. First, both our events included family members, also I don't think it is essential to have a family member in a dream for it to be earliest dream you remember. Rather, for much of the average person's childhood, they spend it with their family. Thus, it is natural that our earliest memory includes family members. Second, we both aren't sure how much of our dream is what we remember and what people have told us. I think that everyone has this problem with their earliest dream because they are usually events that are memorable.
