earliest memory- stitches

My earliest memory was of me getting my only injury that required stitches. I was 3 years old. My family was having a house party. I was outside in front of my house. I decided to run inside and get my cabbage patch doll. There was one brick step on the pathway up to the door. I tripped just before the door and hit my head on the step. The next thing I remember is being carried to our van by my mom. I remember a snap shot of what I saw while lookin over my her shoulder. Guests were standing on the lawn staring at me. There was one girl with long brown hair standing still in a boucy castle. Next my mom put me in my car seat. I remember what she was wearing. She also did not buckle up and instead sat facing me wiping the blood from my face. I remember worrying more about her saftey then my injury. I do not remember anything after that.

I think this was particularly memorable because it was somewhat traumatic.

I remember the incident from my own eyes and I feel like I was the person in the memory.

My earliest memory also involved a combination of pain and blood, but was significantly less traumatic. That could explain why I remembered fewer details about the incident than you did.
