I was 3 or 4 years old at the time and I was playing in the back yard with my dog. There wasn't anything particularly amazing about the memory except I was spraying the dog with a hose and I think I got myself in the face which, although admittadely startling, isn't really worthy of note. However I do remember feeling that sudden sense of surprise which I assume came from getting hit with the hose. I think the main aspects of my personality are the same now as they were then. The difference is in how I portray those aspects.
