Earliest Memory Lab

My earliest memory is from around when I was 3 years old. My mom was helping me change into clothing for a family photo shoot. Two of my aunts peered over to sneak a peek. I stood there and did not really say or do anything. I also remember the ambient light being yellow. I think that the reason I still have this memory is because after we got the photos taken, we had them hanging up around the house (and we still do), so I grew up always having visual reminders of that day. My three-year-old self is not very connected to me today; I was extremely shy and never spoke a word to anyone apart from my parents and my brother. I would hide behind my mom when there were too many people around. While I am not nearly that shy anymore, I am still not the most outgoing person. For example, I tend to not talk much when with large groups of people, and I would rather not interact with a stranger in any way unless I have to.
