There was an on-site preschool at my mothers job which I attended when I was three and four years old. It was a long drive to the campus and the highlight of the trip was the passing of two train bridges. It was a good day if there were trains parked on the bridge and my favorite car was the orange Tropicana freight car. When I was little, I was always fascinated with various toys, books and videos associated with trains.Furthermore, I remember using Legos and various train toys to create societies operating under constant flows of virtual resources. I believe I am relatively similar to my childhood personality as I still hold the trains in high regard, especially from an economic perspective because I find there is a common overlap with my major.Furthermore, I hold Tropicana products in high regard today and view orange as my favorite color.
I guess the reason that you can still remember the memory so well is because you've seen it so often it has become a part of your early childhood. I was able to remember my earliest memory because I was riding a car around a completely foreign place that looked so strange and that evoked a whole different set of emotions. But the way that you can remember those trains may be related to the way that I can remember the street and the architecture of the foreign place because of the way they evoke wonder in us.
