Earliest Memory Lab

The earliest memory I can recall is from when I was pre school. I was 3 or 4 at the time and there was a special event that day where the pre school had a relative of everyone's come in. My Dad's mother, Gammy, came in that day. I don't remember too much of that day, but I can remember bits and pieces of it. I think part of the reason this memory is so significant for me and I can recall it, is that I have a picture that I've had on my desk at home for a number of years with a picture from that day. I don't know if I could say that my personality is a continuation from what it was then. I know I've been quite for all of my life, and for the most part pretty nice, so I would say that there is certainly a continuation of that, but I know I've changed a lot with the nuances of my personality over the pats few years. A lot of my personality is similar to what it was in middle school, but at the same time its a lot different, and part of that might just be growing up and hitting the real world and changing to deal with it.

My earliest memory is also related to the visitation of a relative. I think one of the reasons we remember these moments even now is due to the influence of having a special person around. They provide a change from what would have been our routines and so memories involving them stick out.
