I was about 3 and was being picked up by my mom at a daycare center. There were no extraordinary circumstances that made the event memorable. My personality and identity then is different from the personality and identity I have now.
I have memories that are similar to this, although not the one that I posted about. I can remember one specific occurrences of a routine activity, such as being picked up from daycare, or driving to school. I also find it interesting that one occurrence of a routine with no extraordinary circumstances sticks with me while all of the other times do not.
