Earliest Memory Lab

I remember my grandma bringing me to my 1st grade classroom. So I was about 5. It was the first day of school. And I was scared and sad. I didn't want her to leave. I was crying when she was about to leave me. She told me not to cry and pointed out other kids who were fine when their parents or grandparents dropped them off. This memory was particularly memorable because it was the first day of 1st grade. Also, this was my first time at a new school. My personality and identity then is different from  my personality and identity now. I was much more timid then.

It's definitely really interesting reading all the memories around this time, since all these memories are the same, but they're still different. Some people are timid, some are more outgoing. Reading all the different perspectives and thinking, "that person could've been one of the kids around me in kindergarten!", really makes this memory a bit more vivid.
